When you want to upgrade homes but you need to sell your current home, I’ll write up what’s called a Contingent Offer. This is a special stipulation written into your contract that protects you. 

Contingent Offer

The contingency lets the sellers of the new home know that you have a home to sell, and you can’t go through with the purchase of theirs unless your home sale closes. 

How It Works

If the thought of selling and buying the same day stresses you out, don’t let it. We can request a “lease back” from the buyers of your old home! This allows you to stay put for a few days after closing and this gives you time to move into your new home without rushing.
